Orano Les Fourches: 600 Smart Lockers with Integrated Click & Collect
In 2024, the new Orano “Les Fourches” site in Cherbourg reached a decisive milestone in facility management by installing 600 IzyLockers smart lockers. This modern installation aims to support employees daily within a dynamic industrial and office environment.
A Hybrid Solution for Residents and Visitors
The installation was designed to meet the needs of all user profiles on site. It includes lockers assigned to resident staff, as well as specific spaces dedicated to temporary visitors. This hybrid management offers everyone simple, secure, and practical access to their personal belongings, regardless of the duration of their stay.
Click & Collect: Going Beyond Simple Storage
The true innovation of this project lies in the integration of the internal Click & Collect feature. The system allows for the easy drop-off and retrieval of documents, IT equipment, or other items. This functionality significantly simplifies the site’s internal organization and logistics, transforming the locker bank into a seamless exchange hub between teams.
